RIB Stirrup Leathers
Delicate stirrup leathers made from exclusive calfskin. Available in both black and brown, in one length.
The straps provide stability to the stirrup, while making it easy to adjust the length without affecting the angle. Suitable for both jumping and dressage.
The lower part is lined with rubber on the inside to keep the angle of the footplate stable throughout the session.
If you are 165 cm or shorter, or prefer shorter stirrup leathers, it’s important that the strap running through the stirrup is threaded as short as possible. The top of the stirrup should be placed as far up on the strap as possible – otherwise the stirrup leather may become too long.

Important: Correct threading of the RIB stirrup
For the RIB stirrup to function properly – and to ensure the best possible durability – it is very important that the strap is threaded correctly .
The special design with attachment points means that the load can be unevenly distributed if the stirrup is threaded incorrectly. Therefore, we recommend that you study the pictures below carefully and compare with your own installation to be absolutely sure that it has been done correctly.
In the worst case, incorrect threading can cause the load to be placed in the wrong place in the belt, which over time can cause unnecessary wear – and in the worst case, the belt can break.
