The Team

Maria Terese earned her degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest and made history when she completed a PhD in horse-rider interaction. Her professional journey includes roles as an equine practitioner at Bjerke Equine Veterinary Clinic and NMBU’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and research positions at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.

Today, Maria Terese operates her own veterinary clinic in Norway. Through Rider In Balance, she strives to improve health, welfare, and performance. She has worked with top athletes across all disciplines, providing invaluable insights into enhancing riding technique and optimizing horse-rider interactions.
